Scottsdale seems to be synonomous with Luxury. No other way to look at it. All across the world, if you tell someone you are from Scottsdale, they think money. The facts seem to reinforce that assumption. Seven of the top 20 wealthiest ZIP codes in the Phoenix marketplace are Scottsdale ZIP codes. So reality is, that reputation is well earned. 85262 (#2) leads the way for Scottsdale, with the communities of Desert Mountain, Mirabel, Legend Trail and Estancia contributing to the success. At #3 is 85266 showcasing the Boulders and Whispering Rock neighborhoods. Number Four is 85255 where DC Ranch, Canyon Heights, Pinnacle Peak, Troon, McDowell Mtn Ranch and what many believe to be the crown jewel of neighborhoods: Silverleaf all reside. 85259 is number 6 of the top 20 and boasts the Ancala Country Club as well as the custom homes around the Mayo Clinic and Hidden Hills. Number 12 is 85258, just east of Paradise Valley and has long-time favorites Gainey Ranch, McCormick Ranch, and Scottsdale Ranch. Next at #14 is 85254, home to Kierland. Known as the "Magic 85254", much of the ZIP code is actually within the city limits of Phoenix, yet holds a Scottsdale mailing address. The residents certainly don't seem to mind though. Finally, rounding out Scottsdale's Seven and coming in at #19 is 85260 where Powderhorn Ranch, Sweetwater Ranch and the area just south of the Scottsdale Airport call home. |
